The word "MOTAZAD" (متضاد) in Farsi (Persian) means "opposite" or "contradictory".
In a broader sense, "motazad" can be used to describe concepts, ideas, or objects that are diametrically opposed or mutually exclusive. If this word is used in a design it might imply a focus on contrast, duality, or even a merging of opposing elements. The Mesopotamia Design Studio phylosophy is based on these simply and strong rule.
